Welcome to the 42nd Street Quartet web site!  We are a string quartet composed of two violins, one viola, and one cello.

The quartet members are Jackie Stanek and Benjamin Munson, violins; Donald Sieberns, Viola; and Esther Boatman, Cello. Our members are highly qualified, experienced, professional musicians, based in Des Moines, Iowa, and active in various musical groups in the area.  We are all current or former members of the Des Moines Symphony.

We are available for many of your special occasions.  Our experience includes complete ceremony music for many weddings plus dinners, receptions, and funerals. 

Our music library contains over 400 pieces of music appropriate for various occasions and includes classical, popular, and holiday music.  We can help you to select music for your special event.

Not everything is listed, so don't be discouraged if you don't see the piece that you just can't get married without!  We may have it but just don't have it listed on this web site.  And if we don't have it, we may be able to get it.
