Welcome to the 42nd Street Quartet web site!  We are a string quartet composed of two violins, one viola, and one cello.

The quartet members are Jackie Stanek and Benjamin Munson, violins; Donald Sieberns, Viola; and Esther Boatman, Cello. Our members are highly qualified, experienced, professional musicians, based in Des Moines, Iowa, and active in various musical groups in the area.  We are all members of the Des Moines Symphony.

We are available for many of your special occasions.  Our experience includes complete ceremony music for many weddings plus dinners, receptions, and funerals. 

Our music library contains over 400 pieces of music appropriate for various occasions and includes classical, popular, and holiday music.  We can help you to select music for your special event.
